Our dedicated wire erosion section specialize in wire erosion of large and small batch quantities.

Wire erosion produces exceptionally precise parallel sidewalls allowing stacking when machining multiple parts from sheet material. Taper cuts and tree curves can be achieved simply.

Wire erosion reduces or eliminates fixtures and tooling for one of a kind or low run production parts. Finishing is minimising and parts may be used immediately in assembly, minimising the time between design and delivery.

Tooling:

mb machining offer a complete tooling service, our highly skilled toolmakers together with a fully equipped tool room (including EDM and 3 axis CNC machining) ensures that we are able to cope with all your tooling requirements.

We can manufacture our own mould and press tools; therefore we can take full responsibility for the entire job. Our time served toolmakers will be happy to help in the design and manufacture of prototypes, one-offs to your requirements, single-op stage tooling to multistage progression dies and fully automated transfer kits including transfer fingers and rails.
We also offer a modification service, in the unlikely event of a tool breaking down; we are able to repair it in house without delay.
